BOHUSLAV HORAK

reflections

In 2001, Horak began his second collection for anthology quartet. he calls these “reflections”.

As with his first collection "Metal Garden", the designs continue to be fantastic, creative and free. Still beyond the mainstream, his creations are not taken from a fairytale garden this time, but appear reflective and metallically cool. partly angular and angular, with a silver patina. Mirrors and metal are the visible materials here that the designer consciously uses to create the surfaces.

Not hot, but ice is the theme that determines the second collection. Prague cubism finds its reminiscence in the “Cubist” mirror. The "Roma" lamp uses satinized, hand-blown Bohemian crystal glass and the large, elongated wall mirror "Narciss" is reminiscent of mercury or liquid metal with its three-dimensional surface.
