ROBERT WETTSTEIN

family heart

as Robert Wettstein in 1985 at the exhibition 'Dea' (design europeo anteprima) at Zeus in Milan as a contribution to the anthology quartet his Mrs. heart shows, mute servants are a forgotten product for which there seems to be no market.

with the introduction of his mrs. heart (which was followed in 1988 by the male version with an additional bar for trousers and tie and in 1991 by the smaller version, the heart child), the mute servant is experiencing an unpredictable renaissance: there is hardly a designer who does not flirt with this product; Fashion stores populate their showrooms with them, jewelers willingly allow silent ladies and gentlemen into their bulletproof glass showcases and in the dressing room, men and women are no longer alone.

The Herz family, the pleasantly silent family made of leather and structural steel, has little in common with the Swiss high-tech precision ideology that is popular and known all over the world; After all these years, they are now an atypical but important example of the new Swiss design.

Other designs for Anthologie Quartet include his swing lamp and his wardrobe.
